Bird flu (avian influenza)
Bird flu is being monitored by Australian public health and biosecurity authorities. FluTracking is sharing this information to help keep participants informed.

Since June 2026, H5 bird flu has been detected in a small number of wild migratory birds in Australia. The current risk to people remains low.
